“ We stayed recently at Martessem Resort in Tanay, Rizal, for two nights during a rainy and windy spell (a typhoon had just passed). Despite the gloomy weather, the stunning views were still worth it—cloudy but beautiful. I slept well, thanks to the naturally cold temperature and a comfortable bed. Interestingly, we didn’t need the air conditioning, but it kept turning back on even after we turned it off. I'm not sure if it was a room setting issue or a system glitch, but there was a bit of a back-and-forth throughout our stay. We booked one of their higher-end rooms (M1), and while it was spacious and cozy, some areas looked a bit dated and could use a refresh. I also noticed light stains on some of the pillows and blankets, which was a letdown considering the room price. Food at the resort was great in terms of taste and quality, but the menu was quite limited and priced on the higher side. On the plus side, the staff were very polite and accommodating, which added to the overall positive experience. ”
